Wellbeing in Australian Workplaces

The public health crisis and isolation have had a distinct impact on employees’ mental health. Uprise surveyed more than 2000 Australian employees using the World Health Organisation Wellbeing Index, and assessed the prevalence of different work-related stressors impacting on their wellbeing and productivity.

The results were striking and revealed that:

51% of Australian employees were considered within "very low" wellbeing with detrimental levels of mental health symptoms.

Work overload was the primary factor impacting 33% of Australian employees ability to work effectively.
