Recent studies have shown us that stress manifests in the body in a myriad of ways. This webinar will look at the immediate changes in executive function, awareness, and ability to empathise. As well as, the more long term effects like digestive issues, built-up tension and burnout. After our deep dive into the actual physiology of stress we hope to find a way forward by asking ourselves these tough questions… -Is it possible to be in a stressful situation without being a stressed person? -How can I become more resilient? -Can I learn to recognise the stress response early on? Finally, to wind down we will engage in a short stress relieving mindfulness exercise.
