Australia is one of the world's most multicultural countries because they have welcomed several millions of immigrants since 1945.
Researchers stated that people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) groups are mostly unaware of how moving from one country to another can massively affect their mental health. A CALD group usually faces numerous challenges during the transition period such as different cultures, language barriers, work experiences, rebuilding their identities, and family and social support, among others, which oftentimes affect them negatively.
Having a high number of CALD groups in Australia, it is vital for us to understand the unique mental health challenges of this group to find an efficient way to manage the challenges that it presents to people.
This webinar will provide information that can benefit both the CALD groups and those who interact with them as it will give tips on how to co-exist in a multicultural environment.
