For most of us, a little stress in our lives is actually not a bad thing. Whether it be a deadline you have to meet, or a challenge that you have to overcome, certain stressors can actually engage our creative problem solving capabilities, increase our motivation to achieve, and if we overcome our stressors, give us a sense of accomplishment. Most of us also have experienced a time when stressors become unhealthy. Often, we only recognise when stressors are unhealthy far too late - causing us to emotionally and physically shut down. In this session, Eddy will be discussing some ways to recognise when stressors are becoming too much, so we can do something about it before the stressors can start causing us harm.
